Local officials take part in state-wide disaster drill

World's attention wanes, but Haiti's needs are still dire
Since the Jan. 12 earthquake that killed as many as 300,000 Haitians, Louisville-based Edge Outreach has continued to chip away at Haiti's need for clean drinking water by installing low-cost purifiers. But the pace of recovery remains painfully slow and the needs as acute as ever.
