Vitamins and mineral supplements - why does my stomach react against them?

They make me feel sick and I almost throw the pills back up. Why is this and what can I do? I need to take supplements but wonder - is there any make that is for sensitive stomachs? All the pills are huge and smell like old sawdust which doesn't help.
They also give me HEADACHES
I am not looking to lose weight you guys - just taking them to be healthy

It is as the blender people say painting your home with a spray guy rather then a paint brush.

You can make your own liquid vitamin mineral supplements with real foods which has advantages over nutritional supplements in pill form. But you do not have to throw out your juicer and go out and buy a high speed blender.
