Water Purification is a Source of Life

Water Purification is most probably one of the greatest necessities in life. That is some statement to make, you might say. But consider this. The two most important substances on earth are air and water.

Contaminated water can not only harm you, but it can cause death, and it does. You can go without water for only a few hours. We as human beings need water to survive. Due to the great demand for energy and modern living, water resources are polluted on a great scale. Industries wash their dirt down rivers and dump it in the oceans.

The earth just has a limited amount of water that has been re used for generations. It is estimated at about 326 million cubic miles of water of which 55 300 cubic miles are surface water. The oceans hold about 97,2% of all the water on earth.

Fruit and vegetables contain a very high percentage of water, even up to 87% in some cases. The Human body is made up of 70% water. Purifying water does not only ensure that you live a healthy life, but ensures that you stay alive

There are so many ways of purifying water and every person that sells the filter or purifier will tell you that the water purification system that their company produces is the best. I have found that there are so many factors to consider and that you can not just pick any water filtering system. There are so much more than what meets the eye.

Consider that water is full of undisolved solids that you can’t even see. This is in some cases the impurities that can send you to a slow death. It is almost like small portions of poison that you can’t see. It is not so much the fact that there are undisolved solids present; it is the fact that the undisolved solids may occur in levels that is dangerous to your health. If you can’t even see the solids, how will you tell which ones are good for you and in which levels are you taking them in.

Reverse Osmosis processes will ensure that everything larger that 0.0001 micron will be filtered out of your drinking water. That takes care of most water impurities. Although a lot of people consider this type of purification to be too extreme, and think that you strip your body from elements that it needs. This type of minerals is not useful for your body seeing that minerals taken up in fruit or vegetables are actually what you need. Unfortunately, because of the fact that fruit and vegetables are not left to ripen in the sun, lots of the vitamins and minerals are lost.

You need close to 8 glasses of water per day.

When you drink water it goes directly to you stomach. Part of the water is taken up by your bloodstream through the walls of your stomach. Unfortunately the impurities and unhealthy minerals are taken up in the same process. A person’s body is so delicately woven together. It is impossible to see with your eyes what good or bad happens in this process. It is just over the long term that the health built into your body becomes evident.

With water purification it is no different. If you drink healthy water and enough of it over many years, you will ensure that your body will get the boost that it needs.

Although I am amazed how careless some people are about their health, I know that my decision to live a healthy life is my decision and mine alone.
