Spring cleaning is, perhaps, one of the most dreaded quests most people embark on each year. It's a time to throw away old, unwanted items, organize those you are planning to use, and give your entire home a thorough cleaning. Because of all it entails, the prospect can be daunting, but there are useful hints you can follow that will make it a little easier to tackle. Begin cleaning from top to bottom. Start by cleaning the ceiling fans and light fixtures, then move on to windows, furniture, and carpets.

Wash your windows both inside and out. Vacuum or wash the draperies or window treatments as well.
