why wont water come out of my water filter system?

well you know that drinking water filter in the kitchen sink next to the standard faucet? i dont know why, but water wont come out. it worked in the morning but when i came home in the evening and tried to get a drink of water, nothing came out. the regular faucet next to it still works fine. i checked under the sink but no pipe/tube seems to be out of place. what could be wrong? i dont want to hire an expensive profesional....

Sounds like a clogged filter. Take the filter out and put a new one in...or at least take the old one out and check to see if something might have plugged the inlet hole. If it fairly new...try shaking it out the inlet hole and putting the filter back in.

Founded in 1966, Brita has over 40 years of industry service and practice. The Brita products are known to be cost-effective. The water tastes just as good as bottled ones except for reported occasional chlorine traces. Although the water that runs through the tap is clear, there are documented complains of metallic taste that comes after the water is filtered. There are also incidents of broken or missing parts although these issues were addressed by the retailers straight away. Replacements were immediately sent.

Another slight disadvantage of Brita water filtration systems is that it takes quite a bit of time to finish. One and a half liters of water take approximately 6 minutes. Thus if you filter by the volume, this would be time consuming. However, in this case, you can simply leave the filter to do its thing while you do other chores.

Brita water filter systems come with replaceable cartridge filters that last up to four months. There is a built-in indicator that allows you to keep track of the cartridge life, and to remind you when it is time to buy a new cartridge. This is unbelievably economical, as the cartridges cost very little.
