The water in the Garden of Eden was perfect, clean, and utterly refreshing. They could go to any river, lake, or body of water and drink. They didn't have to worry about iron, bacteria, parasites, and dirt. You get the picture. They could drink plain old water and not worry. Fast forward thousands of years and we have a world where water filters are a necessary component of most homes. The portable water filters can be installed without having a plumber coming to the house. That, of course, is a huge money saver.
Water purification has become a concern all over the world. On a recent cruise, we were told not to drink the water unless it was bottled. I worry that some day people will be told the same information here in the United States. Air and water pollution are a fact of life in today's world. If you are not sure whether or not you need to buy a water filter system, pour a glass of water and leave it on the counter for a few days. You will be surprised at what you find. You might also ask to have your drinking water tested so that you will know what problems your water might have.
If you live out in the country and use well water, you certainly want to have your water tested. If the water is deemed ok for consumption, you still might want to purchase a well water filter just to be cautious. Drinking water is vital to our health and well being. Therefore, buying some type of water filter is a must have and not a luxury. Your health depends on your choices. Make the right one. Buy a water filter.
