I purchased these filters for my Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator. I have purchased them online before, and they are identical to the ones I paid a great deal more for from Sears.
Easy to use..

Product works as expected. Easy to remove old one and put in new one. The price for this 2-pack was the best I could find anywhere.
Nice filters, excellent water taste (no taste)

These are the 200 gallon models that filter about 17 different impurities, which is great, but wasn't stated in the ad. I had bottled water from two different filtration stations (Culligan) from in front of 2 different grocery stores and the water from these clearly tasted off, kind of soapy. The water from my fridge after flushing the filter properly was completely tasteless, which is what water is supposed to taste like. Good filters. I'm sure I can use it each for 1 full year, as our water is quite clean, but just has alot of Chlorine.

Great taste--but...

We have a KitchenAid refrigerator that will take either this cyst reducing filter or the fast fill filter. I think that the refrigerator came with the fast fill but according to the manufacturer it can use either. The filter makes the water taste much better than tap water. We live in Portland, Oregon and the water is supposedly pretty good from Bull Run, but I have had to replace this filter every 4-6 weeks since September 2009. I thought maybe it was temporary sediment in the water that was clogging the filter, but there is no visible sediment in the regular tap water. I wanted the added filtration of this filter but having to replace it so frequently is annoying. When the filter is new, water flows normally from the water dispenser. After about 2 weeks it starts to come out more slowly and by about a month to 6 weeks it starts to slow to a trickle. 

One thing I have noticed--I usually place a glass of water next to my bed at night. If it is bottled water, it tastes bad by morning, but the water that comes from the filter still tastes good in the morning. 

I was wondering if anyone else had experienced the problem of frequently having to replace this filter. I will probably call the manufacturer about it.

A common claim is that in non-ionized water, water molecules form tightly bound clusters, and that ionizing water breaks up those clusters. Manufacturers claim that ionized water is more readily absorbed by the body than ordinary water, and that minerals in ionized water are more readily available to the body. There is an element of truth to the first part; water molecules are held together by hydrogen bonding, and (especially in the presence of cations) can form clusters (see chelation).
Critics argue that water ionizers have no permanent effect on water. Water spontaneously self-ionizes to 10-14 M under normal conditions. If the concentration of these ions is increased (hydroxide and hydronium), then they will react with each other to restore the original concentration. The reaction is very rapid (strong acids and strong bases completely react with each other in seconds, so hydronium hydroxide (or ionized water) should have a half life measured in fractions of a second (or, at best, a few seconds). A link is often made between consumption of non-ionized water and a medical condition known as chronic cellular dehydration. Another claim is that ionized water is an antioxidant. Water ionizer makers claim their product treats chronic diarrhea, Indigestion, Gastrointestinal abnormal fermentation, and Acidosis. These claims are, again, not usually based on empirical evidence, but rather testimonials about individual health benefits.

If i have high bloodpressure on ship day cuz im nervous will i get sent home?

im shipping out next wednesday. my blood pressure is usually pretty low and normal and im afraid im gonna be nervous about whats to come and my bp would be high. would they not let me go if it was? do they even check it on your ship day?
does anyone even know if they check it on ship day. or is it just height and weight?

if your heart rate is regularly you will not get sent home unless your heart skip a beat they already know you nervous or excited or both so they mostly expecting that so they will mostly test you then wait 10 or 15 minutes and test you again.

Here at Robbins Sports and Athletics, we run an online sporting goods business. As a result, we interact with numerous customers on a regular basis. The way we do business with our customers is as follows. The customer either calls our toll free line or visits our site in order to acquire various sporting goods. We then ship the goods out of any one of many offices throughout the country. So, you could say a huge part of our business is the way we handle shipping issues. 1. Shipping Late in the Week

Often times we get requests for overnight or 2nd day air shipping for products purchased on Thursday or Friday. Those who do this think “well, if I buy it Thursday and ship it through UPS 2nd day air, it should get here by Saturday, right?” Wrong. UPS and Fed Ex, the two most commonly used shipping companies, rarely ship on Saturday or Sunday. And when they do ship on weekends, the prices are absoltely exorbitant. So, overnight or 2nd day deliveries ordered late in the week will almost always show up on Monday. This means that if you need something for the weekend, clarify that you need it on a specific day and be prepared to pay a premium price. The alternative is to wait a few more days. To sum up, whether you are shipping UPS Ground or Fed Ex overnight, the number of days they quote you on are business days, Monday through Friday. Weekends generally are not accounted for.

2. Shipping Cut-off Times

Much like the aformentioned business day dilemma that so many find themselves in, cut-off times can be a problem for customers as well. Each company has a shipping cut-off time. For example, whereas one company we deal with will not ship any orders placed after noon, another company has a cut-off time of 3 PM. Depending on the company, you have to get your orders in at a certain time, or else it will not ship until the next day. We have received customer complaints in the past saying that we did not ship their respective orders on the right day, but in actuality we processed their orders immediately. However, the cut-off time had already elapsed.

The point I am trying to make is this. When ordering a product, make sure you know what the shipping procedures are and be sure to adhere to them. If you don’t, you may not receive your shipment at the desired time.
